Later in 2010 British Airways plans to extend its route out of London City to include flights to the southeast city of France, at Chambery.
BA CityFlyer will be operating the new service which will fly out four times a week from December 18th thru the close of March 2011 for the ski season.
Those who jump onto flights to Chambery will be treated to a ride on the new BA fleet of Embraer 190 airplanes.
Commercial manager of BA CityFlyer, Luke Hayhoe, stated that their schedule is set up so that customers can spend anywhere from a full week to a long weekend to even longer on their next ski holiday.
Hayhoe added that the trip only takes a few hours and offers access to 120 ski resorts spread out across the Swiss and French Alps.
British Airways also announced that it will soon launch a direct route to the Scandinavian counties out of London City starting on September 12th. Flights will arrive in Copenhagen.
