A charity that is focused on helping those with multiple sclerosis enjoy a better quality of life is on the lookout for snowboarders and skiers to sign up for their February France Monster Ski event.
The Monster Ski offers enthusiastic skiers the chance to ski over 90,000 vertical feet for three days and is organized to benefit the Multiple Sclerosis Trust aimed at skiers with an intermediate skiing level.
Participants in the event will be responsible for skiing the vertical side of Mount Everest for three days in a row at the Tignes resort from February 3rd to 7th of next year.
A spokesperson for the MS Trust stated that while the event may seem intimidating, those that are capable and confident on the slopes and are in good physical shape will find that they can meet the challenge.
The spokesperson added that the charity event is a great way to cover the expansive Espace Killy ski area while taking part in a charity event that will help change the way people live with a chronic condition that affects their quality of life.
Each participant in the Monster Ski event must pay £150 to register for the event and raise at least £1,700 in pledges in order to participate. The price tag may seem steep, but it does include transfers, flights, three day lift passes, accommodation, and ski guides.
Those that are interested in taking part in the Monster Ski charity event can register online at www.mstrust.org.uk/monsterski or call Laura Percival on 01462 476707 at the MS Trust.
Previous events held in Whistler, Colorado, and Engelberg have raised around £250,000 to support the MS Trust.
